Micaylee Rodyniuk joined Code Hunter as a summer student in 2022, completed articles of clerkship with the firm and was called to the bar in September 2025.
Background
Micaylee obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in the spring of 2024. Prior to pursuing a career in law Micaylee completed a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Manitoba, performed as an accomplished jazz vocalist and musician while teaching music to students of all ages.
Community Service
Micaylee volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada as the project lead for the EPO project. This collaboration with Alberta Legal Aid allowed students to aid individuals seeking emergency protection orders while gaining valuable legal experience themselves. Micaylee also worked with Student Legal Assistance as a volunteer case worker, providing legal process information and access to justice to those in need. In her final year of law school Micaylee was elected Vice President – Academic Affairs and served on the Academic Appeal Board for the Faculty of Law.
